Black seemed to be the strong, silent type but likes some loving, too!
One thing they are not is delicate. Tiny, yes. Table manners intact, no….You’ve never heard such slurping and sucking at meal time – and then some of them just tromp right into the dish and sling the food everywhere. Not a problem for the others…they start munching and licking their sloppy siblings! It is the funniest scene!
From the pictures that Laura has been posting, I imagined that the babies would be at least shoebox size. They are not…YET. They are tiny, and some of them are real hot potatoes. It’s hard to believe that in four more weeks they will be multiples of the size they are now. But, spending time with them and with Grainger and Oakley so that I could see the future, so to speak, was exciting and reinforcing at the same time. Laura and her Swissies are everything I hoped they would be – as puppies and dogs, and I feel so lucky to be a part of her family. Now, I just have to worry about exactly how long potty training is going to take…..
