Blue has found that the art of snuggling is completely underrated. He will crawl in my lap or fall fast asleep in my arms if given the opportunity. He is extremely photogenic and often poses for the camera.
Orange is incredibly laid back, but he's really playful with Oakley. When Waldo initiates play, Orange is happy to oblige. He's still the heaviest in terms of weight.
Green boy is the complete joker of the group and is a social butterfly. He's the first to learn something new, the first to climb out of the box every morning and evening, and the most observant of them all. He's already mastered the art of sleeping on his back like his Uncle Grainger.
Waldo is usually the first one to initiate play, and he seems a little more mature than the others. He likes to kiss chins and is usually curled up in a little ball. He and Oakley have some great play sessions with Waldo batting her in the face with a paw - he doesn't back down from any challenge and is pretty fearless.
Black and River are almost like twins - they stick together most of the time, and are very similar in personality. They like to play and investigate - wandering away from the other puppies and Oakley to touch noses with Grainger through the ex-pen or to walk the perimeter of the exercise area. They are the least demanding of the group - and the most independent.
They turn 4 weeks old on Monday. Since I had an extra set of hands available (one of the puppy buyers came over for a visit), here are some pictures of them. Thanks Angela!
