Their needle teeth are officially here, and I have the red marks on my hands and arms to prove it. They are fast learners, though - they know what "ahhh" and "ouch" mean and back off pretty fast or the fun ends immediately. For amusement (mostly mine, but they did enjoy it!), I gave them some ice cubes to push around. Ice cubes are now a favorite for Waldo and Black. Black doesn't play as much with toys as the other puppies, but ice cubes - oh yes! Ice cubes are fun to push around, and they are nice to lick - soothing for teething puppies! After Waldo got over the whole "holy canoli, that's cold!" thing, he thought batting them around with his feet was great fun, but alas, they melt.
Here are some pictures from the Krellwitz family visit on Saturday, so this is the closest to six weeks old I have. I sure hope the Krellwitz family hasn't caught whatever I have, but I kept my distance when they were around.
